Authentic Italian pizza in Tainan-Anping residential area: Fatso's Naples Pizza

Check out the new store #胖奇奈波里斋, which is located in the triangular window of the building at the intersection of Junping Road and Yonghua 8th Street, next to the Yonghua store of Fitness Workshop and opposite Fuping Park. Naples Pizza, which just opened not long ago, serves oven-baked pizzas made to order. The taste is truly authentic Italian and it is one of the best pizzas in Tainan.

Inheriting the layout of the previous brunch restaurant, the dining space is open and bright, and is decorated with some Italian ornaments, making it spacious and comfortable. The menu is à la carte, mainly pizza and pasta. If you upgrade the set meal for an additional 100 yuan, you will get more snacks and drinks, and you can also order additional appetizers and drinks.

Ordered the classic Parma ham and arugula pizza, crispy German pork knuckle and Caesar salad. The pizza crust is baked fluffy and thin, and is topped with rich fillings (tomato sauce, mozzarella, Parma ham, arugula, Padano cheese, extra virgin olive oil). When you chew it slowly, you can feel the salty and moist fillings and the chewy crust. It is an outstanding performance that restores the authentic Italian classic and is delicious.

It is common to have the skin of German pork knuckle roasted until crispy, but I never thought that the meat would be equally crispy! It's no exaggeration to say that this is the first time I've eaten a German pork knuckle that was crispy with the skin and meat all over. It wasn't dry at all, but still had some moisture and chewiness, and was full of gelatin. It was delicious when dipped in the slightly sweet French mustard sauce.

It was my first visit and it was noon, so not many people had limited appetites, otherwise I would have liked to try all 15 pizzas, 6 pastas, and 8 appetizers on the menu! Next time I'll try the Black Rock pizza and the Roman-style slow-cooked tripe.
