Anshan Iron and Steel Museum is a modern museum with the characteristics of Anshan Iron and Steel. The museum covers a building area of 12,600 square meters and is divided into three floors. It displays and collects a large number of photos and cultural relics with precious historical value. The museum has eleven themed exhibition areas, as well as two special exhibition areas: the No.1 blast furnace completed and put into operation in 1919, and the sintering machine of the original No.2 roasting workshop.
Anshan Iron and Steel is the first large-scale steel joint enterprise to be restored and constructed in New China and the earliest steel production base to be completed. It has long carried the historical mission entrusted by the nation and is also known as the 'Cradle of China's Steel Industry' and the 'Eldest Son of the Republic's Steel Industry'
