Free attractions in Erdaobaihe Town

📍Spent a good week in Erdaobaihe Town and played at several free attractions there. I'd like to introduce them to you, so you can visit when you're bored.

1️⃣Chinese Merganser Park
It's a small forest park by the river, with woods, a stream, and some small landscapes.
Of course, there are ducks in the river, but! They are just ordinary mallards, I didn't see the precious scaly-sided mergansers.

2️⃣Beauty Pine Park
Beauty Pine is a unique tree species there, with red bark, and you can see them everywhere on the streets.
Beauty Pine Park has a tall platform where you can see the peaks of the Changbai Mountains in the distance when the weather is good.

3️⃣Forestry Workers' Culture Park
Strictly speaking, it's just a green belt by the road, with beauty pines, and some sculptures of workers cutting trees and vehicles.
A tribute to the sentiments of the past.

4️⃣Coffee Shops
Tried 2 coffee shops
✅Changbai Bite: The environment is more artistic, suitable for taking photos and checking in, and there's a cultural and creative store next to it. The price is a bit expensive, 36 yuan for a cup of ginseng coffee, and there's a cute border collie to pet.
✅Latitude 42: It also has a fresh and clean corner for taking photos. The price is relatively reasonable, 24 yuan for a cup of coffee. They also sell cultural and creative products like fridge magnets at reasonable prices, I bought a fridge magnet for 25r there, while I saw the same one being sold for 30r elsewhere. There's an enthusiastic Springer Spaniel.
✅Luckin Coffee is also available
Overall, the prices are not cheap

5️⃣Paid Attractions
✅Visited the Magic World Scenic Area and Magic World Rafting, both in the same place.
✅There's a ticket booth on the platform, including shuttle service. Tell the staff the pick-up location, and a driver will come to pick you up, which is quite convenient.
✅The Magic World Scenic Area is a small forest with wooden walkways, quite healing, just that there are a bit too many bugs in summer.
✅Magic World Rafting is the popular rime rafting in winter, scientifically known as Daquan River Rafting. In summer, it's just trees on both sides. Very relaxing, you won't get wet. If you can't move or keep spinning in circles, you have to paddle yourself a bit.

🚇Transportation:
Mainly rely on taxis and walking, there are also shared bikes and electric scooters, but they all have to be parked on the docks.

➡️When we went there, it wasn't the peak season, so Erdaobaihe Town was just a quiet little town, and after living there for a while, it really got a bit boring...
