Changbai Mountain - Peaceful skiing.

The day before yesterday, I stayed at Changbai Mountain Blue View International Ecological Exchange Center (Blue View Hotel). The hotel room rate also included breakfast on the second day and a 3-hour ski ticket. The ski resorts available were Heping Ski Resort or Hongsongwang Ski Resort. After having the hotel’s buffet breakfast, I picked up tickets for the Heping Ski Resort at the front desk and took the hotel’s 9:30 bus to the ski resort.

Note: I made an appointment with a snowboard coach through the front desk the day before, 1 to 2, 550 yuan/hour, usually starting from 2 hours, and I can hire one for 1 hour after communication. (Ski coaches are divided into different levels, and the prices are naturally different. It is best to make an appointment in advance after confirming the ski resort you are going to, so that you can choose the right coach according to your own situation and negotiate the price)

After arriving at the Heping Ski Resort parking lot, you need to walk a short distance to enter the ski hall. At the front desk, you can provide the ski ticket issued by the hotel (including 3 hours of skiing time, ski equipment, and helmets), snow goggles (30 yuan/piece), snow suits (60 yuan/set), protective gear (50 yuan/set), etc. for on-site rental (a deposit of 1,000 yuan is also required on-site, and it can be returned after returning all the props after skiing). After receiving the props, you can go to the storage area next to it to store your clothes and change equipment. The locker requires 30 yuan rental and 30 yuan deposit.

The main scenic spots on the north slope of Changbai Mountain include Heping Ski Resort and Hongsongwang Ski Resort. The Blue View Hotel opens tickets for Hongsongwang Ski Resort by default, explaining that the equipment at Heping Ski Resort is relatively old and the service is not good enough (this was not the case after the actual experience).

Heping Ski Resort: There are skiers training there, there are ski slopes suitable for novices, and there are pointed wooden houses suitable for taking photos. I personally feel that the skiing atmosphere is better;

Hongsongwang Ski Resort: I didn’t go in to experience it, but I observed that many people went there. The slope of the ski slope seems to be gentler than that of Heping Ski Resort. I personally feel that it is suitable for family travel;
