Want to escape the scorching heatwave? Come to Changbai Mountain for a cool adventure! The summer here is only 20°C, every breath is a gift from nature, and every scene can soothe your heated heart.

🌋DAY 1: Explore the magical world of the North Scenic Area
Stepping into the North Scenic Area of Changbai Mountain feels like entering a fairy tale realm. Tianchi Lake is like a sapphire embedded among the peaks, surrounded by 16 mountains standing as loyal guardians. The lake sparkles under the sunlight, mysterious and enchanting. Walking along the mountain path, the Changbai Waterfall roars as it cascades down, with a 68-meter drop creating layers of splashing water, majestic and breathtaking.

The Julong Volcano Hot Spring Group is filled with steam; reach out to feel the warmth of the hand bath pool, then take a bite of the special hot spring egg, with tender egg white and solidified yolk—delicious beyond words. Green Abyss Pool is like a poetic painting, with emerald water and a 26-meter waterfall. In summer, the mist creates a fairyland atmosphere; in autumn, the colorful forest reflects in the pool, so beautiful you can’t look away. In the valley forest, wooden plank paths wind deep inside. Strolling here, surrounded by ancient trees and moss, full of negative oxygen ions, it’s the perfect place to relax your body and mind.

As night falls, the Yunding Market is bustling with life, filled with the aroma of delicious food. Stroll and snack, soaking in the lively atmosphere. Stay at the Huazhu Lux·Shenlin Homestay in Enduli, where the environment is quiet and elegant, and you can soak in a hot spring to wash away your fatigue. The Chinese-style street here is a treasure trove for photos—every shot looks like a masterpiece.

🏞️DAY 2: Enjoy fun times in the mountains and fields
On the second day, go canyoning in the Floating Stone Forest of the gorge. Hike through the volcanic canyon, listen to the babbling creek, touch the texture of the rocks, and immerse yourself in the wild charm of nature. Peace Mountain Sports Park is a paradise for adventure lovers. Drive a UTV through the primeval forest, with the wind roaring in your ears—exciting and refreshing. The beautiful scenery along the way is perfect for photos.

Changbai Mountain Jin 1172 feels like a time portal. Step into the Jin Dynasty Market, where acrobatic performances are spectacular, the tavern is filled with the aroma of wine, and you can dress in ancient costumes for an immersive RPG experience, instantly traveling back a thousand years to enjoy a unique kind of fun.

🍲Don’t miss the food
How can a trip be without food? When in Changbai Mountain, you must try authentic iron pot stew, steaming hot and fragrant; chicken stewed with mushrooms is rich and savory; crispy on the outside and tender inside sweet and sour pork; stone pot bibimbap is fragrant with every grain; Korean cold noodles are cool and refreshing—each dish satisfies your taste buds.

For transportation, fly directly to Changbai Mountain Airport if possible; if not, fly to Changchun first and then transfer by high-speed train. The weather in the Changbai Mountain area is unpredictable, so remember to bring a raincoat and a thick jacket, and wear comfortable hiking shoes. Buy tickets in advance through official channels, bring your ID, and pay attention to the last shuttle bus times in the scenic area. The scenic area may close during extreme weather, so be prepared to adjust your itinerary. Come to Changbai Mountain and encounter coolness and beauty this summer!
