[A journey to immerse yourself in the silence of Sagano. From Jojakko-ji Temple to Nison-in Temple to the riverside scenery]

#Spring0yenTrip

If you come to the Sagano area, you should definitely visit Jojakko-ji Temple and Nison-in Temple. If you go through the bamboo forest path and climb up the mountain, you will find a quiet and beautiful world, a stark contrast to the bustle of the tourist spots.

As its name suggests, Jojakko-ji Temple is a place enveloped in silence and light. In the autumn leaves season, it looks like a red carpet, a beauty that will cleanse your soul. On the other hand, Nison-in Temple has a photogenic stone-paved approach to the main hall, and the straight trees change their appearance with the seasons.

After that, you can enjoy a retro trip on the Sagano Scenic Train. The view of Hozukyo Gorge and the nature along the Kameyama River from the train window is so beautiful that you might scream out loud.
