┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈The MOA Museum of Art, located on a hill in Atami, is an art and relaxation facility where you can enjoy national treasures, teahouses, gardens and views, as well as Western sweets and Japanese cuisine. It is easily accessible by bus or car, and you can take your time to appreciate it in about 1.5 to 2 hours. Check the closing days, entrance hours, and parking situation in advance, and enjoy the culture and the spectacular views 💡
🚃 Access Public transport: From JR Atami Station, take Tokai Bus No. 8 to the MOA Museum stop, about 7 minutes to the last stop, then a short walk. By car: About 2 hours from Tokyo (Odawara Atsugi Road → Seisho Bypass → Manazuru Road → National Route 135) About 1 hour from Shizuoka (Shin-Tomei Nagaizumi-Numazu IC → Izu Jukan Road → Atsukan Road → National Route) Parking: There are about 200 parking spaces in total on the 3rd floor of the building and near the escalator entrance, and they are free to use (9:00–17:00)

Golden teahouse and Noh theater: You can visit a replica of Hideyoshi's golden teahouse and an indoor Noh stage. Spectacular views and gardens: From the "Suishoden" you can enjoy a panoramic view of Sagami Bay and Atami city, and you can also enjoy the azalea garden that changes with the seasons. Architectural design: The 2017 renovated building by the duo Hiroshi Sugimoto and Tomoyuki Sakakida combines Japanese materials with a modern exhibition space.
