The true essence of New Zealand felt at Mission Bay in Auckland

If I were to pick the most relaxing and beautiful moment in Auckland, I would undoubtedly say 'a walk at Mission Bay.' Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park, though not far from the city center, felt like a peaceful little island. Sitting by the fountain, I found myself lost in thought, unaware of the passing time.
The walk from the park to Mission Bay takes about 10 minutes. Strolling along the path with the sea breeze was the highlight of the trip. Especially, the view of Rangitoto Island and the ocean from the coastal cafes was exotic yet soothing. The brunch was delightful, and the fish and chips were so crispy that I still crave them.
At sunset, the sky turned a soft pink, quietly marking the end of the day. I loved the moment so much that I ended up taking over 100 photos on my phone. Mission Bay felt less like a tourist spot and more like a neighborhood where you'd want to live. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to spend a leisurely day in Auckland.
