This shrine is located in a cave under the cliffs of the ruins of Iwaya Castle, about a 3-minute walk from Iwaya Port.

It enshrines Hiruko no Mikoto, the first child born between the two gods Izanagi and Izanami.

Locals say that this cave is the hidden palace of Izanagi no Mikoto.
