most photogenic temple

Tanah lot is amongst the most photogenic temples in Bali. An absolute must when you're in Bali. It took us a mere 20 minutes of bike ride from Cangu. I visited in the afternoon and enjoyed a beautiful sunset. It's highly recommended you stay back for the sunset. Unfortunately, you're not allowed to visit the temple itself. However the surrounding area offers plenty of beautiful spots for pictures.

The rocks carved by the sea, with an arch and an island at high tide make for a stunning setting. There are many tourists around. It does spoil the beautiful scenery. And does get rather crowded when we there around sunset. However, it's not to be missed.
