Solo Travel|Best Value Stay in Sanur Area, Bali

Sanur, known as a surfing paradise🏄
A perfect area to enjoy the beach slowly, away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta and others.
It’s safe and also recommended for families.
I found the best value hotel in Sanur.
A private room with breakfast buffet included for only 3,500 yen per night per room.
A large pool on a vast property🏝️
Although the room didn’t have a bathtub, it had basic amenities and bottled water.
The breakfast venue was spacious with many menu options🍽️
A lineup of Balinese dishes.
The chef might not be top-class (a friendly young man in a casual shirt),
but the staff were very friendly.
Egg dishes were cooked right in front of you,
and interestingly, they also made noodle dishes using instant noodles on the spot😆
Being able to try a little bit of local cuisine is a big plus for short-term visitors.
You can fully enjoy the resort vibe and a bit of luxury,
all at a price even backpackers can afford🌟
If two people stay, it’s under 2,000 yen per person!!
About 30 minutes by car from the airport🚗
Grab taxi costs around 1,800 yen.
Boats to the nearby islands also depart from Sanur Port,
so staying one night upon arrival and using it as a base is a good idea.
Access is excellent not only to the airport but also to distant areas like Ubud.
I arrived at the airport late at night,
and since it takes time to get to my main destination, Ubud,
I stayed here just to shower and sleep,
but the access, price, facilities, and service were all best value, and I’m glad I stayed😉
📍The Cakra Hotel
Address: Jl. Bypass Ngurah Rai No.28, Kesiman Kertalangu, Kec. Denpasar Tim., Kota Denpasar, Bali 80237 Indonesia
Budget: 3,000–5,000 yen
Budget per person: around 2,000 yen
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
One star less because it’s a bit far from the center of Sanur
and it’s not right in front of the beach.
If you want to enjoy a private beach every day, ⚠️
but it’s quick to get there by motorbike taxi or car.
