A Private Paradise in Bali

The Samaya Ubud Villas are nestled in the tranquil Sayan area, about a 1 hour and 30-minute drive from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport. The hotel’s location is excellent, surrounded by numerous villas yet still maintaining exceptional privacy and serenity.

From the moment we stepped into the Samaya Ubud Villas, we felt warmly welcomed. The check-in process was simple, efficient, and very quick. The villa’s decor blends modern and traditional Balinese styles, rustic yet luxurious. The hotel is fully equipped with comfortable spa facilities, a gym, an infinity pool, and beautifully scenic relaxation areas. We chose a hillside pool villa with a private swimming pool and garden, peaceful and very private. The shuttle service provided by the hotel made our trips to the center of Ubud easy and convenient.

The villa’s interior is very spacious, featuring a comfortable large bed, soft bedding, and high-quality furnishings. The room is fully equipped, with a separate outdoor shower and private pool that made us feel very comfortable. From the balcony, we enjoyed lush green views and fell asleep to the sounds of nature at night, relaxed and cozy.

Dining at the highly praised Swept Away restaurant was a delight. Located by the river, the candlelight at night created a very romantic atmosphere. The crispy duck and chocolate lava cake were our favorites. To celebrate our special day, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a candlelit dinner inside the villa, a warm and romantic memory we will never forget.

The hotel’s location also made it very convenient to visit major attractions in Ubud. We took advantage of the hotel’s bicycle and guide services to easily explore the Ubud Art Market, Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, and Ubud Palace. Nearby, there are several must-visit restaurants, such as Brie Restaurant & Cheesery’s cheese platter, Prima Warung’s local cuisine, and Mana Kitchen’s healthy meals, all worth trying.

Although the Samaya Ubud Villas were overall very satisfying, there were a few minor drawbacks. Some older facilities need updating, especially the drainage system in the shower, and the Wi-Fi was occasionally a bit unstable. However, these small issues did not affect the overall perfect experience.

In summary, every day at the Samaya Ubud Villas was enjoyable and relaxing, making it ideal for couples or families seeking a private and romantic getaway. We hope to return someday to quietly enjoy this peaceful paradise again. 🌺
