Bali Ayana Resort

#OverseasHotel
I stayed in the Rimba Wana 2 Bedroom, a 4-person room with two connected bedrooms. The room layout from the official Ayana website is as follows.

According to the layout, one bedroom has two single beds and the other has one double bed, but the room I actually stayed in had double beds in both bedrooms.

The room condition was excellent, with flawless interior and cleanliness. All the staff were very friendly and great. I never saw a single ant or mosquito in the room.

You can order simple necessities (water, towels, etc.) through the Ayana Resort app. The app also lets you check the tram’s location and see the locations of pools and restaurants in each resort. You can also book various activities, so using the Ayana app was essential during my stay. The spacious bedroom had a table and chairs in front of the closet, as shown in the photo on the right, which was great for snacks or relaxing. There was also a table and chairs on the terrace outside the bedroom, along with a drying rack for swimsuits.

The amenities are from Sensatia, known as the Aesop of Bali. I used the shampoo, body wash, and body lotion well. Ayana Resort has a wide variety of pools, and although I tried hard for three days, I’m not sure if I visited them all. Each pool has a different atmosphere and concept, making it fun to swim while moving from pool to pool. And three days still wasn’t enough!

Before the vacation, I searched blogs to find which pools I must visit, but once I arrived at the resort, I couldn’t remember which pool was number one or two. I just went wherever my feet took me, checking the Ayana Resort app. Here’s a brief summary of the pools I visited:

1) Ayana Lobby - Ayana Main Pool, Ocean Beach Pool: The pools at the Ayana lobby are always popular. The Ocean Beach Pool is especially famous for sunsets.

2) Villa Lobby - River Pool: This is Ayana’s signature pool where you can take beautiful photos at the corner pool.

3) Rimba Lobby - Rimba Pool: Located near the breakfast restaurant Toge, this large pool is crowded. There were many children guests.

4) Segara Lobby - Segara Pool, Luna Pool: Segara feels like paradise. The lush pink and white flowers above the white buildings are truly beautiful. The pool was also very pretty. The Luna Pool is located at the rooftop bar in Segara.

5) Rimba Wana Lobby - Forest Bar: This pool is not shown on the Ayana Resort map. It’s connected to the building on the first floor of the Rimba Wana building (you have to take the elevator one floor above the lobby floor). It’s also connected to the Forest Bar. Maybe because it’s not on the map, there were few people and it was quiet, which I liked.
