🌱Recommended Ubud Sightseeing Spots
① Tegenungan Waterfall🌀
A powerful waterfall that was very lively! There were many photo spots, perfect for Instagram.
② ATV (Two-seater Buggy) Experience🏍️
Recommended by a friend, I gave it a try!
It was more fun than expected, but mud splashes all over your body, so it’s best to wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty.
It also takes some stamina, so I recommend trying it in the morning.
③ Tegallalang Rice Terraces🌾
A terraced rice field area with a gentle breeze, where you can fully feel the richness of Bali’s nature. There’s also a swing experience spot!
④ Bali’s Specialty "Kopi Luwak"☕
A world-famous luxury coffee. I was able to taste it at a farm in Ubud. It has a unique flavor, but it’s great as a conversation starter.
It was a day full of enjoying the beauty of nature and activities.
🍴 Bali Gourmet
The Seminyak area where I stayed is a paradise of stylish cafes!
Visiting cafes every morning became my daily routine☺️
Recommended cafes:
- Livingstone Seminyak
- Watercress Cafe
- BAKED. Seminyak
Of course, the unique Bali cuisine was also delicious!
- Duck Leg (duck dish)
- Mie Goreng (fried noodles)
These are must-tries.
Even if you’re not into ethnic food, there are plenty of Italian and bagel specialty shops!
🚗 Transportation in Bali
Mostly by car.
Since sightseeing spots are scattered, it’s safest to book a chartered car the day before.
What surprised me was that many drivers spoke Japanese! It made sightseeing guidance smooth and helpful.
Payment was accepted in cash (Rupiah or Japanese Yen).
📍Sightseeing Tip: It’s efficient to group your daily itinerary by area!
