Neighborhood cafe in southwest Lembongan

#cityplaybook

Nusa Lembongan is only a fraction of size of Nusa Penida, but it could still take a while to travel from one end of the island to another.

As a result, the more developed part of the island is the Northeast coastline where many fancy French cafes are located, whereas there are fewer options on the southwest neighborhood of the island closer to Devil’s Tears.

That said, the available options on this part of the island also tend to be far more affordable in term of price-performance ratio.

For example this place. Most Indonesian food options here are around 50k and rarely exceeds 80k. And the seating area, though not air conditioned, but feel chilly due to good ventilation. And it’s authentic in local vibes.

So it’s a good place to sit around if one’s not looking for fancy cafe setup.
