You need to come early – it gets very crowded later in the day. Some parts of the trail are quite dangerous. We only went halfway down, and it wasn’t easy, especially where there are no more steps.
They’re building an elevator, which might ruin the natural feel of the beach. For now, it’s very hard to access and really only for those who are well-prepared.
The road to get here is rough and risky, so drive carefully. There’s an entrance fee, 0,30 eur for parking. Also, be careful with the monkeys – don’t provoke them, as they can get aggressive.
