Conquer Fansipan Mountain on a Rainy Day

#AdventureTrip

Fansipan is the highest peak in Indochina, also known as the "Roof of Indochina" (Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia), reaching 3,143 meters above sea level.

How to get to Fansipan:
01. Travel to Hanoi, Vietnam, by plane.
02. Travel to Sapa by bus or train from Hanoi. We took the bus, which took about 6 hours.
03. Once you arrive in Sapa, you'll need to purchase a ticket for the funicular up to Sunplaza.
04. Continue by cable car up to 6,292 meters.
05. Once you reach the station, you'll need to walk or take a small funicular up a bit. If you can't walk, the funicular is recommended, as the path is quite steep.
06. Reach the Fansipan photo spot.

We recommend spending 4-5 hours at the top, as it's quite high up, and the stairs are long, so there might be a lot of walking involved.

We visited in January, during the winter. The temperature was around 2-5 degrees Celsius, and there was a lot of fog. This is the best time to avoid. But I felt the atmosphere was so good that if I had the chance, I'd still like to go back again.
