KUANG SI WATERFALL - Luang Prabang Laos

Intro - In Lao, the waterfall is called Tat Kuang Si. Local people often tell a story associated with that name. Based on the legend, the waterfall was created by a wise old man collecting water from the Nam Xi River by digging deep into the ground. After the water returned, a golden deer came to make a home under the rock protruding from the waterfall. The name Tat Kuang Si is a combination of three words: "Tat" means "waterfall", "Kuang" means "deer" and "Si" means "digging into the ground".
Attractions - Kuang Si is a complex of three waterfalls, the main waterfall is about 60 meters high with water pouring down from above, creating white foam and mist, creating a truly impressive scene.
