The three major temples we visited when we visited Bangkok, Thailand.
Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun
These three temples are close to each other, so you can see them all in half a day.
We took the water bus and went to Wat Phra Kaew → Wat Pho → Wat Arun in that order.
◎Wat Phra Kaew
A temple with an impressive golden pagoda.
Photography was prohibited inside the main hall where the Emerald Buddha is enshrined, but Wat Phra Kaew is glittering everywhere inside the temple.
I couldn't help but take photos! I feel like I spent the longest time here out of the three temples.
◎Wat Pho
The biggest attraction at Wat Pho is the golden reclining Buddha.
It is a very large Buddha statue measuring 50m in length and 12m in height.
Its size is so impressive that I would recommend you see it in person to experience it for yourself.
◎Wat Pho There were many other Buddha statues installed, and we spent time enjoying the different expressions.
◎Wat Arun
The pagoda is decorated with colorful ceramic fragments, and you can enjoy the different designs of the two temples.
You can also go up to the top of the pagoda, so it was nice to look at the view from the top.
The three major temples are known as world-famous tourist destinations. If you go to Bangkok, be sure to visit them!
