I spent a weekend with my friends in the ancient villages of Guangxi. It was like stepping into a peaceful pastoral painting.🌳

🚗Transportation:
We took a high-speed train to Zhongshan West and then took a taxi to Xiushui Zhuangyuan Village in Fuchuan. The journey took about an hour and the price was reasonable. The scenery along the way was beautiful, with blue skies and white clouds, which made us feel relaxed.😜 I heard that there will be a shuttle bus🚌 next year.

🍜Food:
We had local oil tea for breakfast. The taste was a bit special. You may not be used to it at first, but you will love it after a few more sips. It was perfect with crispy fried rice and tea cakes, which were very crispy!

🌟Travel Tips:

1⃣️Ancient Archways: You can see several ancient archways as soon as you enter the village, which are full of history. Taking photos under the archways is a great experience. We took many photos there.🤭

2⃣️There are many alleys in the village where you can find some old ladies👵🏻 doing handicrafts at the door. Chat with them and experience the slow pace of life in the village.

3⃣️There is also a magical spring, from which the water of the whole river comes. There are many aquatic plants🌿, small fish🐠, and ducks🦆 swimming in the water. The most amazing thing is that the spring water is warm all year round, so the villagers wash things by the river.
