I stopped by to try the deliciousness of my favorite French-style cake shop. This branch is the original branch on Sukhumvit 19. This time, I ate at the shop and ordered coffee to go with the delicious dessert.
🍰 Mille-Feuille
This is the signature dessert here. It always sells out quickly. The puff pastry is layered with crispy, buttery flavor and filled with vanilla cream that is perfectly sweet and fragrant. The texture is light, soft, and smooth on the tongue. It's as delicious as its reputation.
🍫 Philip 82
A favorite menu for chocolate lovers. It has fragrant chocolate mousse alternating layers with creme brulee. The cake is soft and the base is crispy. The taste is rich and perfect.
🫐 Tarte aux Myrtilles et Earl Grey
A blueberry tart consisting of crispy, fragrant tart dough, soft Earl Grey tea-flavored cream, and topped with fresh blueberries. It's a light deliciousness that contrasts with the intensity of Philip 82. They're both great in their own way, so you have to have both.
🍒 Forêt Noire - The name of the cake literally translates to Black Forest, so it's not hard to guess that it was inspired by the German Black Forest cake. Chef Carol Busaba has interpreted it in the form of a French-style cake that is both elegant and has a more complex and refined taste. The base of the cake is a crispy chocolate biscuit. The cake is a deep red heart shape with a glossy cherry sauce. Inside is a light chocolate mousse that is not too sweet, with a cherry jam filling and soft cake in the middle. There's a slight alcoholic aroma that complements the taste perfectly. It's a dessert with a rich taste, but it's refreshing and not too heavy. It's so delicious!
