"Echoes of the Mind" by Ananya Kongthong

The exhibition invites us to explore the complex and diverse state of the human mind and emotions through Pop Surrealism oil paintings, which are full of meaning and feelings conveyed from the artist's imagination and personal memories.

The artwork in this exhibition tells a story through the character "Nong Son", which was inspired by the artist's younger brother who did not have the chance to be born into this world. However, with imagination and longing, the artist asked the question: if her younger brother were still alive, what would he be like today? What kind of personality would he have?

"Echoes of the Mind" is like the hidden and unrevealed echo of the mind. It is the sound of thoughts, feelings, and memories that still linger in the heart. The artist uses the artwork in this exhibition as a medium to convey those feelings to the audience. It is a space for reflecting emotions and memories that include both happiness and sadness, which reflect her mental state during the past.

The artist's experience of loss has become the power to create artwork and live her life today. She conveys the hidden longing and pain through the creation of the character of Nong Son, creating a connection between memories and imagination. If looking at it from the perspective of life These experiences have given us a greater understanding and acceptance of changes in life.
