When you visit Thanon Banthat Thong, you can't miss the long line outside Neung Nom Nua (Banthat Thong branch). This creative toast shop is always packed with people, and for good reason!
I made an effort to arrive early this time, but I still ended up waiting nearly 45 minutes. However, after the first bite, I knew it was worth it! 🍞🔥
Their signature thick-cut toasts come in both savory and sweet options, with a wide variety to choose from. Once you cut into them, the filling oozes out, releasing an irresistible aroma.
The shop's interior is a charming mix of artsy and cute vibes. Although seating is limited, the turnover rate is relatively quick. The staff are friendly and even offer recommendations on flavors, which explains why the place is so popular!
Despite the wait, I highly recommend giving it a try. This kind of culinary surprise—where you question your patience but are rewarded with a flavor explosion—is what makes travel so memorable!
