Spent the recent Dragon Boat Festival holiday vacationing in Bangkok. This time, I chose to stay at the Bangkok Queen’s Park Marriott Marquis Hotel. The cost-performance ratio is excellent. Plus, the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk to the very popular EmSphere mall, which has a very unique design. There’s also an IKEA in the city nearby, great for strolling around. The hotel’s location is flawless. It takes just over ten minutes to get to Siam by car without traffic. - This time I stayed on the 28th floor, with an amazing high-floor view. There’s hardly any obstruction, and the room’s floor-to-ceiling windows are very open and bright. Their breakfast is especially delicious, better than many other Marriott hotels of the same level. There’s a wide variety of fruit and vegetable juices, fruits, and breads. There’s also a very comfortable outdoor seating area. - Because they have many rooms, the gym is particularly large with lots of equipment. Fitness lovers will definitely enjoy this place. There’s also an outdoor pool where you can swim and sunbathe when the weather is nice. - At night, I tried A bar, a rooftop bar. The sunset view is really amazing and soothing. I tried many cocktails, all very tasty. It’s very comfortable to sit and chat with friends. We also tried The Siam Tea Room, a very authentic Thai restaurant. Their newly launched salted egg yolk river prawn dish is truly delicious. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, many locals come here just to eat!
