Bangkok’s Craziest Temple? You HAVE to See Wat Pariwat’s Wild Statues! 🏯✨

#templestay
Just visited Wat Pariwat Ratchasongkram (วัดปริวาสราชสงคราม) and it’s the most unique temple I’ve ever seen! This place is famous for mixing classic Thai art with modern pop culture—think golden Buddhas next to statues of David Beckham, superheroes, cartoon characters, and even pirates. Every wall and corner is packed with wild details. It’s fun, weird, and still peaceful!

How to Get There
🚇 BTS to Chong Nonsi, then BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) to Wat Pariwat station
🚕 Taxi or Grab is easy too (Rama III Road, Bang Phongphang, Yan Nawa)
📍 Right by the Chao Phraya River—great views!

What to Expect
🛕 Stunning temple halls with colorful, detailed art
🦸♂️ Spot famous figures: Beckham, Obama, Superman, and more
🐟 Feed fish at the river pier (buy fish food for a small donation)
📸 Perfect for photos—everywhere you look is different
🌳 Quiet gardens and riverside chill spots
🙏 Locals come to pray and make merit

Costs
🆓 Entry: FREE! (donations welcome)
🕗 Open: 8am–6pm daily
🍽️ Hidden riverside eatery nearby (try the fried chicken & som tam!)

Pro Tips
👚 Dress modestly (shoulders/knees covered)
🌞 Go early or late afternoon—midday is hot
🔎 Take your time—so many hidden details in the art
🥤 Bring water, and enjoy the peaceful riverside

Rating: 10/10 – Most creative temple in Bangkok! A must-see for photos, culture, and a break from the usual tourist spots.
