Review of Leng Noei Yi Temple (Dragon Temple, Yaowarat)

Whenever I have the opportunity to visit Bangkok, especially in Yaowarat, one thing I never miss is visiting Wat Leng Noei Yi (or Wat Mangkon Kamalawat). It's a place I've always been connected to, as every time I visit, I have to resolve my bad luck and entrust my destiny to it.

The temple's atmosphere is filled with sacredness and tranquility. Each book of fortune is available for 100 baht. Every time I write my name, I feel like I'm entrusting my hopes and comfort to a sacred object. They also offer amulets, sacred objects, candles, and rice for making merit, depending on my devotion.

Wat Leng Noei Yi is a Chinese temple over 150 years old. Its architecture is truly impressive and beautiful. Walking inside feels like stepping back in time. Every time I visit, I feel a sense of peace.

Another impressive feature is the use of Chinese medicine from monks for those who are ill. They also offer fortune stick drawings to guide their lives. These days, however, the practice of worship has changed, as the temple no longer uses incense, creating a clean, airy atmosphere, eliminating the need for incense smoke.
