% Arabica Bangkok Empire Tower
Level 55, EA, Empire Tower, 1 S Sathon Rd, Yan Nawa, Sathon, Bangkok 10120, Thailand
Open daily 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Rising from the Bangkok skyline, Empire Tower, a collection of five magnificent glass office buildings, offers a professional work environment and a relaxed atmosphere. Cafes and casual restaurants surround the tower, while regular events and a fitness center provide a relaxing retreat for employees before heading back to work. The public is also welcome to enter.
The Arabica store on the 55th floor is nestled in front of high windows overlooking the stunning skyline. % Arabica can be seen from afar in the lobby. Chemex shards cascade over the counter, reflecting against the softly lit ceiling. Enjoy the refreshing aroma of coffee while taking in the panoramic views of Bangkok.
I visited the so-called "Eng Cafe," a Japanese brand that also has a branch in Korea. I visited because it was close to my accommodation and had a great view. It's located on the 55th floor of the Empire State Building. Since it's a corporate building, the entrance might be a bit tricky to find, but I asked the staff and they were able to help me find it easily.
The cafe and restaurant are on the top floor, accessible by a dedicated elevator. The entrance was gorgeous.
It wasn't a panoramic view, but it did offer views of MahaNakhon, the Chao Phraya River, and Icon Siam in the distance. It would be a nice place to visit in the evening.
We ordered Arabica's signature latte, and my friend ordered an Americano.
The casual atmosphere and the white bar-style tables were neat and clean.
It seemed like a lot of tourists, including me, visited, and it was nice to relax with a cup of coffee and a view out the window. It seems like a better place for friends or couples than families.
It was lovely to see an elderly couple taking a sweet photo with the view in the background. There's also a supermarket in the basement, which made it convenient for shopping on the last day. If you're staying at a nearby hotel, I highly recommend the Arabica Coffee shop on the first floor, which offers a more impressive view than Starbucks.
