If you're looking for a chill hostel in Yaowarat/Chinatown, not too far away, Hostel Urby is a great choice. Upon entering, the atmosphere is modern and the atmosphere is great, especially the rooftop bar "Barbon" by the riverside, with a cool canal view. The coffee is good, the cakes are delicious, and the lounge area is excellent.
The shared rooms can be a bit cramped if you're staying for multiple nights, but the privacy is still good. The beds are clean, the blankets are nice, and the sheets are crisp and white. Some shared beds even have privacy curtains, which is great.
Highlights
• There's a rooftop bar/terrace by the riverside, with a great view and a super chill atmosphere. I recommend taking in the sunset views for the best experience.
• Dorm rooms come in various sizes, including 8-bed and 10-bed rooms. Some are even private ('private') rooms - perfect for traveling with a group of friends or meeting new people.
• There are common areas with seating, lounges, beanbags, floor cushions, and comfy sofas to relax after a day of exploring.
