Rosewood Bangkok is one of the most popular ultra-luxury hotels among many, including myself. I wanted to try staying there for a night or two, so I decided to celebrate my birthday.
The staff provided excellent service from the moment I got out of the car.
They offer valet parking for guests who drive, as guests cannot park on their own. It was very convenient. After getting out of the car, I went straight to check-in.
The wait for my room didn't take long, less than 10 minutes.
A staff member escorted me to my room and explained how the room functions. The hotel has excellent facilities and is able to control everything through the TV.
The Manor Suite is approximately 79 square meters, which is comparable to two standard rooms in the hotel.
The room layout is spacious and airy, with a clear division between the bedroom and living room. The high glass walls make it a corner room, giving me a magnificent view of both the building's exterior and the front.
The room is beautifully decorated, befitting its luxury. The hotel has invested in high-quality furnishings, including the Geneva Touring M speakers, a Dyson hair dryer, and brand-name bedding. Guests booking a Suite room or above will also receive a personal butler, as well as complimentary soft drinks and other in-room amenities.
Breakfast is served at the Lakorn European Brasserie restaurant, the same place where Afternoon Tea is served. The breakfast menu is à la carte, allowing you to order as much as you want.
The selection may not be as extensive as other hotels, but the quality is worth the price. There's also a variety of dessert stations.
90% of the hotel's swimming pool is indoors, so you can swim whenever you want. It's not too hot.
Overall, the staff took good care of me throughout my stay. Everywhere I walked around the hotel, they greeted me by name. Perhaps because I was the only Thai guest on the day I stayed, almost 100% were international guests.
The Front Office Manager and the butler even came to my room for a surprise birthday celebration, playing guitar and singing live. It was lovely.
This hotel is another great place to celebrate a special occasion.
