A fantastic place that's both educational and fun!
Parents looking for a fun place for kids to enjoy, but also stimulate learning and imagination, should definitely check out the Bangkok Planetarium (officially known as the Science Center for Education) in the Ekkamai area. It's not just a place to "stargaze," it's a mini-science kingdom with an incredibly affordable admission price!
Awesome zone where kids will fall in love with the "Science World."
The planetarium has been revamped and modernized, with more modern and fun exhibits divided into various buildings and activity zones.
The Stargazing Dome: Experience the "First Universe" (admission fee applies). This is a must-see highlight! The planetarium's show in the large dome takes visitors on a journey through the solar system, learning about constellations and the history of space.
Live lectures by academics initially provide easy-to-understand astronomy and space knowledge for children.
The Full Dome Movie later features exciting space films and astronaut legends, filling the dome, allowing children to experience space travel in a realistic way.
The Science Museum building, with its large laboratories (main exhibitions are usually free), is a treasure trove of knowledge. Filled with interactive exhibits where kids can experience hands-on play:
The Universe and Space Zone: Learn about planets, the formation of seasons, and view models of rockets and space stations.
The Basic Science Exhibition: Featuring a variety of science toys, such as a fun science corner, a rolling ball, water pressure experiments, and balancing, this zone makes science no longer boring.
The Insect/Dinosaur World Zone: Some buildings showcase biology and natural science, such as the world of insects or dinosaurs, which are popular with children.
The new "SCIENCE TOPIA" zone: The World of Science (additional admission fee may apply). This new, modern activity zone emphasizes hands-on learning and experimentation.
The interactive exhibition features new equipment and activities that enhance understanding of physics and technology.
