See the Thai house decorated in a Western style at Jim Thompson House.

The Jim Thompson House Museum is located next to the Saen Saep Canal, in Soi Kasem San 2, opposite MBK and Suphachalasai Stadium.

There are several ways to get there:
- BTS: Get off at National Stadium Station and walk a bit.
- Saen Saep Canal Boat: Get off at Saphan Hua Chang Pier and walk along the canal to the west.
- Cars: You can park your car at the Jim Thompson Art Center.

We called to check the tour schedule before going and booked over the phone. When we arrived, we paid the entrance fee. If we didn't call in advance, we might have to wait in line if there were a lot of people. The museum offers tours in several languages, so you can ask the staff over the phone about the schedule.

The entrance fee is 200 baht per adult. The tour guide will take you around the house for about half an hour.

This time, I went to see it after not going for over 20 years. The details that the tour guide gave me were probably not the same as before. I personally think that it was not as detailed, maybe because there were a lot of people and they couldn't explain for a long time. But overall, it was satisfactory. There was also an additional section on Jim Thompson's biography.

For those who are interested in design The decoration of the house using Thai (and Asian) materials in a Western style, you must try to see it once.
