After You dessert cafe needs no recommendation honestly, I think. They have been around for a long time and their standards have been constant throughout the years. But they do deserve a post, so here goes!

After You is famous for their Shibiya Toast. The bread is toasted to perfection, crunchy and crisp on the outer, fluffy soft on the inner. The honey syrup is for drizzling over the toast but personally I feel it is sweet enough without the honey. The toast is topped with caramel ice cream, so it feels like eating caramel popcorn with that burnt umami taste. Truly satisfying!

I’ve tried many flavours of their kakigori, so far my favourites are the strawberry, Horlick and Thai tea! Their shaved ice is smooth and every mouthful of ice is filled with flavour. It is the king of cold dessert!

They have a corner with dispensers of sweet water for customers to take, free flow. So there is actually no need to order another drink. 😉

Be prepared to queue for awhile though. Siam Paragon and Terminal 21 outlets always have a long queue, so I always skip these 2 outlets. Central World on the other hand, has a very short waiting time and fast turnover rate.

My favourite outlet is however, the Thong Lor branch, which is also their very first outlet in Thailand!
