‘Kawa Ijen’-the world's largest acidic volcano

My favorite place on this trip, partly because the weather was great, around 10°C, and the wind was so strong that it was cold. This route is 3km long, with 2km of steep slopes and 1km of flat roads. I left my accommodation at 2am and started walking at 4am, so I didn't see the path as steep and slippery. But luckily, it rained the night before, so the ground didn't slide much. And we hiked often, so we made good time. Even though we didn't make it in time for the sunrise, we still got some beautiful pictures in the morning. It's as beautiful as if we had the chance to visit another planet or something. 🥰

For those who are mentally ready but physically not, there are taxis here. It's like an American worker using his free time to push people up the mountain instead. You can choose to sit in a normal/Rambo seat. 🤣 Personally, I didn't dare to sit in one. It's slower but better to get there.
