When you come to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you can’t miss a visit to the local characteristic architectural attraction [Batu Caves], which is a Hindu temple with colorful design and is unique.
To go to Batu Caves, first take a KTM from KL Sentral directly to Batu Caves Station, which takes about 1.5 hours. When you leave the KTM, you will see a colorful Indian temple with many believers and tourists coming to worship. On the left is the paid visiting area, and if you go straight to the right, you will see a huge statue. This temple is free to visit.
If you come here specifically for a visit, you must climb the 272 colorful stairs to the top floor to see the stalactite caves, which is a different experience. When you reach the top, you will be accompanied by various animals along the way, including pigeons, birds and monkeys, so remember not to bring any food or drinks.
Tips: Since it is a Hindu temple, please be respectful when you go up to Batu Caves. Clothes should cover your arms and lower body and it is best to wear long pants.
It is best to come in the morning when there are fewer people and monkeys. You can also have breakfast here, and there are Indian and Malaysian specialty breakfast spots.
