Weizhou Island: A Love Song from the Depths of Time

Stepping onto Weizhou Island is like entering a paradise forgotten by the world, embarking on a journey of romance and passion.

My first stop was Crocodile Mountain Volcano Park, where the sea breeze carried the unique salty scent of the ocean. Walking along the winding path, I saw the unique geological landscape left by the volcanic eruption. The black volcanic rocks, in various shapes, resembled a mysterious poem written by the earth, recording the vicissitudes of time.

In the evening, I arrived at Dishuidanping. The setting sun dyed the sky orange-red, like an overturned palette. The sunlight sprinkled on the layered waves, sparkling and dreamlike. The reefs on the shore, polished by the waves, seemed to tell ancient island legends.

At Wucaitan, I encountered a breathtaking sunrise. The sky began to glow with the first light of dawn, and gradually, the sun rose slowly from the sea level. Golden light instantly filled the entire beach, and the colorful reefs shimmered under the sunlight, creating a dreamlike scene that made me marvel at the wonders of nature.

As night fell, Weizhou Island revealed another charm. The seafood night market was brightly lit and bustling, with a dazzling array of seafood and vendors' enthusiastic calls filling the air. I sat at an open-air stall by the sea, savoring the delicious seafood while listening to the sound of the waves, my heart filled with contentment and satisfaction.

Weizhou Island, you are the poetry and distant place in my heart. I would like to recommend this pearl hidden in the South China Sea to everyone who yearns for freedom and beauty.
