Treasure Found in Beihai! Xia Shu Yard Homestay – I Could Stay Here Forever

Who would’ve thought? Last-minute trip to Beihai during peak summer, hotels fully booked, so I blindly picked a homestay—and ended up utterly obsessed with **Xia Shu Yard**!

The front desk staff are absolute gems! They came out to help with luggage at 11 PM and doted on my kid with the sweetest smiles. Plus, two free coffees/lemon teas daily—their handcrafted lemon tea is divine, and the plum green tea is uniquely refreshing. I could drink them all day!

The room blew me away! Wabi-sabi style decor totally vibes with my taste, full smart-home convenience, and the bed is so plush I never want to leave. Step outside, and there’s the pool—crystal clean with daily water changes! My kid splashes around while I chill indoors with AC and coffee. Parental freedom unlocked!

The location is scream-worthy! Cross the street from the back gate, and you’re at Qiaogang Folk Street—24 Building Desserts, Yue Xiang Kitchen… 3-minute walk to food heaven! Just 10 minutes to Qiaogang Beach for sand and waves, and a quick taxi to the ferry terminal. Laziness approved!

The yard at night is pure magic! White arches + vine-covered trellises = instant aesthetic photos. Poolside BBQ skewers? Crispy outside, juicy inside, paired with evening breezes—heavenly! The room’s 100-inch projector is binge-watching paradise, and kid-friendly toiletries are provided. Parenting made easy!

I seriously never want to leave! Next Beihai trip = staying here again. Don’t miss out, folks!
