Find the Peace in Yonghe Temple

Yonghe Temple (or Lama temple in English) is a beautiful moment for peace in the middle of the bustling Beijing city. Whilst it can get crowded with people buying bracelets to be blessed by the monks, if you go further into the complex, there are spaces which are very quiet and good for reflection. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing the huge wooden statue of Buddha in one of the halls which is an impressive sight.
