Temple of Heaven - Experience the Emperor's Way of Offering Sacrifices to Heaven

#北京旅行 #100方式旅行 #家庭好去地方 #天坛

The Temple of Heaven in Beijing is the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worshiped heaven and earth. It is the largest existing ancient sacrificial building in China and a world cultural heritage. The main attractions include the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Circular Mound, the Imperial Vault of Heaven, the Palace of Abstinence and the Divine Music Office. The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests is the main building of the Temple of Heaven and the most representative building. It was the place where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties prayed for a good harvest in spring. Looking at the blue tiles, red columns and magnificent Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, I can't help but sigh at the mysterious and exquisite design of ancient Chinese architecture and the profoundness of Chinese traditional culture. Standing on the Circular Mound Stone Altar, "touch" history in your own way. Standing on the Tianxin Stone in the center of the upper level, silently make a "dream of offering sacrifices to heaven" in your heart. This is a classroom for understanding and learning Chinese history and culture.
