Xingcheng Longhuitou Scenic Area

Xingcheng Longhuitou Scenic Area is located near Xingcheng Beach in Xingcheng, Huludao, Liaoning Province. It is a beautiful tourist attraction with mountains and sea.

According to legend, the name Longhuitou comes from two stories: The first is that Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty passed by this place on his way back to Beijing and was deeply attracted by the beautiful scenery of the beach. He looked back many times, so it was named "Longhuitou" (Dragon Looking Back). The other legend is that there was a sea monster in Bohai Bay, and a dragon in training used its power to get rid of the sea monster. After the dragon completed its training, it left reluctantly, looking back frequently, forming the current Longhuitou Scenic Area.

The main attractions in Xingcheng Longhuitou Scenic Area include Tingtao Pavilion, Guansun Bridge, Yinshi Pavilion, and Lanyue Bridge. From the viewing platform, visitors can overlook Longwan Beach and enjoy the vast Bohai Sea and beautiful coastline.
