Visit Kuroyama Temple.

Heishansi Village is located at the foot of the Yunmeng Mountain Range. It got its name because the mountain turns black on rainy days. It is close to the Yunlong Mountain Scenic Area and the Miyun Reservoir. It has the Heishansi Temple (now known as Dayunfeng Temple) and the Heishansi Railway Station. The freight railway line runs across the foot of the mountain, which is quite charming. At the same time, an independent Great Wall watchtower was built on the mountain behind Heishan Temple, echoing the independent Great Wall watchtower on the top of Baidaoyu Mountain.

This is also a good place to view red leaves. Climbing up and looking east, you can see the red leaves on the Jianyan Trail and a corner of the Miyun Reservoir. There are many colorful ginkgo trees around the temple. During the flood season in summer, the small reservoir here will become a huge waterfall, which is also a good check-in spot.

It is recommended to locate Baidaoyu Village first, then enter Hebei Road from Xitong Road, pass Niupenyu Village to Baidaoyu Village, and then locate Dayunfeng Temple at the entrance of Baidaoyu Village. The hills along the way are all covered with red leaves, which is beautiful. You can park your car in front of the gate of Dayunfeng Temple, walk around the area, take pictures of the yellow ginkgo leaves, then drive up from the road on the east side of the temple, pass an iron gate of China Power Construction, and not far away you will reach a flat parking area at the end. You can go to see the reservoir along the wooden plank road, or you can climb up directly from the gravel road on the left side of the parking space. In just over ten minutes, you can reach the Great Wall watchtower and overlook the various scenery.
