This mountain in Changping, Beijing "contracts" my four seasons of the year
The 🆓hiking "Sea Viewing" trail that can reach the top in 20 minutes
This winter, it’s a great hiking destination worth visiting❗️
Original natural scenery, overlooking the Ming Tombs Reservoir
📍Location: Changping Wolong Hall (Ming Tombs Reservoir)
🎫Tickets: Free, pet friendly
🚇Transportation:
🚗Self-driving: 🧭Changping Wolong Hall or Sinopec Convention Center (both have mountain climbing entrances, I often go up from Wolong Hall)
🚌Public transportation: 🚇Changping Station - Exit C, then take a taxi for 15 minutes
🅿️Parking: Free
📝Tips for travel:
❶ It is close to Beijing city, 🚗1 hour by car;
❷ With a hiking trail of less than two kilometers, you can climb to the first viewing pavilion in 20 minutes. The best scenery is at the second viewing pavilion;
❸ You can take the stairs or the gravel road, which is relatively gentle and not difficult. It is suitable for all ages. It is recommended to bring hiking poles;
❹ There are no businesses here. You need to bring your own food and water when going up the mountain. You can also carry lightweight equipment and picnic and camp on the viewing platform🏕️It is comfortable with fewer people;
❺ If you love taking photos, it is recommended to bring a telephoto lens;
❻ Nearby attractions: Ming Tombs Scenic Area, Mangshan Forest Park
