Beijing City Walk | I could spend an entire afternoon here

📍Beijing Stone Carving Art Museum
Originally known as Zhenjue Temple, commonly known as Wuta Temple, also known as Dazhengjue Temple, it was built during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1403–1424) and was destroyed by fire in the late Qing Dynasty, leaving only the pagoda. The five-story pagoda base and five pagodas have 1,561 Buddha statues with different postures carved on the base. The museum houses more than 2,600 exquisite stone carvings, including steles, epitaphs, statues, stone pillars, and stone carvings. Due to its architectural style, it is also known as the "Little Angkor Wat" of Beijing.

✅Photo Spots
1⃣️The gate of the Vajra Throne: The red semicircular door frame and the stone lion in the sun look great from both the front and side.
2⃣️Around the Vajra Pagoda: Take photos around the five pagodas. The exotic buildings make you feel like you have accidentally entered Angkor Wat in Beijing. Every angle is photogenic (the Buddha statues are very interesting).
3⃣️Ginkgo trees in front of the pagoda: Two 600-year-old ginkgo trees, one male and one female, are in front of the pagoda. The trees are full of golden leaves, making it the best time to visit.
4⃣️Persimmon trees behind the pagoda: There are many persimmon trees in the temple. The dense leaves have almost all fallen, and the branches are full of red persimmons. This unique autumn romance is very healing.
5⃣️Water tank in the backyard: You can use the reflection on the water to take beautiful photos of the pagoda.

✅Nearby Attractions: Zizhuyuan Park, Beijing Zoo, National Library, Wanshou Temple, Capital Gymnasium, etc.
