Beijing’s Iconic Temple of Heaven

If you’re visiting Beijing, the iconic Temple of Heaven is a must see. Beautifully coloured and almost always on Beijing site-seeing guides, this temple is one of the most instagrammable locations in the city. Situated in a park near the city centre, it is very easy and affordable to get there via cab or your preferred car hailing service.

From the entrance, it’s a short walk, approximately 10 minutes, to get to the temple. Due to its popularity, it is normally covered with tourists, so if you want a picture with the place to yourself, it’s best to get there as early as possible.
