🌟Highlights:
Guomao is the core of Beijing's CBD. The towering China Zun (CITIC Tower), the distinctive CCTV Headquarters (Big Pants), China's earliest office building—the International Trade Center—and later demands for Grade A office buildings, luxury shopping malls, and five-star hotels all converge at this two-square-kilometer crossroads. Every day, the bustling traffic and rapid flow of capital and trade witness the rise and fall of countless people.
After working and living in Guomao for a week, I found several of the best photo spots, mostly in public areas to share.
1️⃣ The corner of the LV store in Guomao Phase 1. Its ceiling reflects like a mirror, allowing you to capture the reflection of the opposite Yintai Building. After shooting, flipping the photo creates a "Inception"-style magical effect.
2️⃣ The Guomao rooftop on the 6th floor of the central area of Guomao Mall. Here you can capture the busy East Third Ring Road elevated highway, CITIC Tower, CCTV Headquarters, PICC Tower, and other core office buildings. The rooftop itself is also decorated with many lights and plants, making it great for photos.
3️⃣ The JEN Hotel Sanwutang Buffet Restaurant on the 2nd floor of Guomao North Area. Dining here offers a direct view of the CCTV Headquarters, and the night view is quite nice.
4️⃣ Exit G of Guomao Subway Station. From here, you can shoot the Guomao Interchange, with many flower beds on both sides of the bridge. Also, during sunset, the sunlight reflecting off the office building glass creates a special atmosphere.
5️⃣ The pedestrian bridge on Jianguo Road east of Guomao. This spot also captures the bustling traffic vibe. You can shoot both the morning sunrise and the evening sunset here.
