As a Malaysian, I was truly amazed at the National Museum of China! This is simply a grand showcase of 5,000 years of Chinese civilization, and every exhibit was an eye-opener 👀
📍National Museum of China
⏰Opening Hours: Weekdays 09:00-17:00, extended to 17:30 during some seasons (last entry at 16:30)
🚇Transportation Guide: Take Metro Line 1 to Tiananmen East Station, Exit D, and you're there.
I did some research before coming and found out that there are over a million collections here. Seeing them in person, every piece is indeed a national treasure!
- The most stunning is the Simuwu Ding in the Bronze Exhibition Hall.
- I spent 3 hours in the "Ancient China" exhibition hall and still couldn't get enough.
- The interactive experience area on the basement floor is particularly interesting.
Tips:
1️⃣ Be sure to book in advance! You can book on the official website and official mini-program.
2️⃣ It's recommended to bring some snacks, as it's easy to forget to eat while exploring.
3️⃣ You can rent an audio guide to learn the stories behind the artifacts, which makes it more interesting.
4️⃣ Wear comfortable shoes, as this place is really huge and great for exploring.
What amazed me the most was the Porcelain Exhibition Hall. I never imagined that the craftsmanship from hundreds of years ago could be so exquisite, with the blue and white porcelain sparkling under the lights ✨ After the visit, you can also take photos in Tiananmen Square. A perfect day!
