Dragon Gorge, Beijing

The river was once dammed. Now there's a lake with boat rides and a beautiful waterfall. Around it, bizarre mountains rise up out of the water, which you can climb by chairlift. There's also a picturesque trail with stairs. Along the way, there are several resting pavilions and small temples. A visit takes 5-6 hours. Highly recommended!
