Beijing Summer Palace in Winter! 😍

I must say the the Summer Palace in winter is a must see as well. We have visted the Summer Palace two times already and the first time was in Summer. Summer Palace offers different beautiful atmosphere and scenery in both seasons.

The Summer Palace served as the Imperial Garden during the Qing Dynasty and it is the best well preserved of its kind in the world. So, as a cultural and history buff I super enjoyed my time exploring this massive area and its attractions inside such as the Long Corridor, Kunming Lake d of course the Main Building. Heads up though, if you are going during high tourist season the qeues for the attractions and museums are pretty long so for this visit this time we just enjoyed strolling around and taking photos. The frozen lakes around us were so beautiful.

You can either go there by didi/taxi or by subway. Very accessible and it is not far from the Forbidden city, maybe around 30 min by car.
