Beppu, a small town known as the hot spring capital, attracts countless tourists with its unique geothermal landscape. During this trip, we visited the three most representative hell hot springs in Beppu: Sea Hell, Blood Hell and Alum Hell, each of which was very impressive.

💙The first place we visited was Umijigoku, which got its name from the deep blue hot spring pool. The water was as blue as the sea but with billowing hot steam. The strong visual impact made people feel the power of nature.
❤️Next is the scarlet blood hell. The spring water here contains a lot of iron, so it appears a rare red color, like boiling magma, giving people a mysterious and shocking feeling.
🤍The last stop is Alum Hell, where white sulfur springs are surrounded by smoke, like a fairyland, full of a dreamy atmosphere. The magnificent scenery of these hell hot springs not only makes people feel the inner energy of the earth, but also deeply appreciate the wonders of nature.

♨️Tranquil experience in the hot spring area
After enjoying these spectacular views, we chose to stay in a traditional inn in the Beppu hot spring area. The night in the small town is surprisingly quiet. There is no hustle and bustle of the city, only the gentle sound of spring water and the cool evening breeze. We soaked in the open-air hot spring, letting the warm spring water soak our bodies, and our bodies and minds gained unprecedented relaxation. The Japanese dinner provided by the hotel is exquisite and delicious, with local ingredients cooked in just the right way, which is unforgettable.
