Highlights
1️⃣ 360° Panoramic Mountain Views
At an altitude of 3303 meters, Kokhe Danda is the highest viewpoint in the Parbat region of Nepal, offering stunning views of Annapurna (8091m), Machhapuchhre (6997m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), and Nilgiri (7061m). At sunrise, the peaks are bathed in golden light, and the sea of clouds churns below, creating a visual spectacle comparable to Poon Hill, but with fewer crowds and a more intimate experience.
2️⃣ Beginner-Friendly Trek
The entire trek takes 4-5 days (round trip from Pokhara), with an average of 5-6 hours of hiking per day. The route is well-established with a gradual elevation gain (starting at about 2000 meters), making it suitable for travelers with limited time or those new to high-altitude trekking.
3️⃣ A Blend of Culture and Nature
The trek passes through river valleys, forests, terraced fields, and traditional villages. You can visit Gurung cultural villages and experience the unique blend of local Tibetan and Hindu customs. On the return trip, you can also visit Pokhara's Phewa Lake or experience paragliding over the mountains and lakes.
