Tiger’s Nest Monastery, or Paro Taktsang, is a Bhutanese gem perched on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley—a sacred site that can only be reached by foot. 🥾 The approximately 6-kilometer trek through pine forests, colorful prayer flags, and breathtaking mountain views takes about 2–3 hours to ascend, and the same amount of time to descend.

Once you reach the summit, you'll experience the tranquility of a 17th-century monastery with picturesque views of the valley below. Visiting in spring or autumn is especially stunning for photos. 📸
